When you think of Mark Nagata's Max Toy Company, the first thing that comes to mind is his Captain Maxx line, named after his son, Max. The Ultraman-esque henshin hero has an endless rogues gallery of original kaiju and tons of his own colorway variants; but this is from an early wave of releases back in 2006. The 9" figure is a total homage to the tokusatsu toys of yesteryear, complete with removable mask to reveal Maxx's face! This variant is molded in black vinyl but painted in brown, gold, and green as a nod to the '70's hero, Spectreman!
